    Normalerweise so: Synaptic

    Kann sein, dass Ubuntu inzwischen noch ein neues Frontend darum gebastelt hat, aber Synaptic funktioniert auf jeden Fall auch. In Synaptic suchst du nach LCDproc und installierst es dann wie in dem Link beschrieben.

    a das war eh klar hab lirc und lcdd-proc etc installiert
    hab auch die datei lcd schon angepasst und dir lirc ebenfalls aber es tut sich am display trotzdem nichts, leider!

    OK, weißt du, wie man in einem Terminal Text editiert? Du editierst /etc/modules und hängst eine Zeile mit diesem Inhalt ran:
    Code:
    lirc_imon
    Dann neu booten (geht auch eleganter ohne booten, aber muss jetzt nicht sein).

    Falls es dann nicht geht, gib "lsusb -v" im Terminal ein und kopiere die Ausgabe hierher. Interessant wäre auch noch, was "dmesg" im Terminal ausspuckt.

    OK, iMon wird richtig erkannt und Lirc startet anscheinend auch ohne Probleme. Das sind schon mal gute Voraussetzungen. Jetzt musst du vermutlich nur XBMC richtig konfigurieren. (Kann sein dass die Lirc oder LCDproc Konfiguration auch noch nicht ganz stimmig ist.) Ich kann leider erst heute abend nachschauen, was ich so gemacht habe.

    Jetzt gehen wir mal Schritt für Schritt vor. Der Anfang ist schon gemacht und Linux erkennt offensichtlich das Gerät. Als nächstes probierst du jetzt mal aus, ob lirc wirklich etwas empfängt. Dazu gibst du in einem Terminal einfach "irw" ein. Kopiere dann bitte die Ausgabe auch wieder hier rein.

    irw ist ein kleines Programm, das sich mit Lirc verbindet und einfach alle Tastendrücke von der Fernbedienung ausgibt. Es eignet sich übrigens später auch gut um rauszufinden, unter welchem Namen Lirc eine Taste auf der Fernbedienung erkennt.

    OK, also du hast "irw" eingegeben, dann ein paar Tasten auf der FB gedrückt und es wurde nichts im Terminal ausgegeben? Du musst übrigens nicht länger warten, sobald eine Taste gedrückt wird solltest du auch was im Terminal sehen. Schau auch mal, was in /var/log/daemon.log steht. Alle Fehlermeldungen von lirc wandern da rein. Es ist aber gut möglich, dass lirc nichts meldet.

    Vermutlich musst du nur /etc/lirc/hardware.conf oder /etc/lirc/lircd.conf richtig konfigurieren. Ich habe mal ein bißchen rumgegoogelt, aber nicht gleich das richtige auf Anhieb gefunden. Ich schau morgen noch mal. Aber prinzipiell sehe ich kein Problem, das ans Laufen zu kriegen. Es gibt viele Treffer, wenn ich nach der USB ID 15c2:0038 deines Displays suche.
